Spot the AI content in your own feed

Your feeds are filling with AI-generated posts, images, and ads. Collect 5 real examples from your own scrolling, break down the tells, and verify at least one with a reverse search or source check.

Steps

  1. 01Over a few days, save 5 posts/images/ads you suspect are AI-generated (Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp forwards).
  2. 02For each, list the tells: hands, text in images, over-smooth writing, impossible details, no verifiable source.
  3. 03Pick one and actually verify it — reverse image search, check the account history, find the original.
  4. 04Link a public source that settles it (the original image, a fact-check, the account).
