The work brief

  1. 01Collect 3 real scam messages/calls from your own or family phones (screenshot, redact numbers).
  2. 02Dissect each with AI: paste the redacted message and ask it to name the urgency trick, the authority costume (bank? government?), the ask (OTP, link, payment), and the tells — then add the tells it missed.
  3. 03Verify against official warnings: RBI, your bank’s fraud page, or the cybercrime portal — link the matching advisory.
  4. 04Make the family cheat card: one small graphic with the 3 rules that would have blocked all 3 scams. Actually share it in the family group.

The 3 scams are real, received messages — properly redacted.

Dissection quality

29%

The psychology and tells are correctly and specifically identified.

Useful defence

29%

The cheat card’s rules would actually have blocked all 3 scams.

Real specimens, really shared

The 3 scams show real phone-UI/redaction artefacts (not typed-out stock text) and the cheat card is shown actually posted in a real chat with visible app UI and date. Stock scams or an unshared card = fail.

How we grade your AI usage

30% of your score

Using AI is the point — it’s the skill this certificate proves. You’ll answer three short questions about how you used it: what you asked, what was wrong with its first answer, and what you changed. Specific, honest answers score high. “I pasted the brief and submitted the answer” scores near zero.
