Turn your real notes into an AI study pack — then audit it

AI tools like NotebookLM turn your notes into summaries, quizzes, and audio overviews. Feed one with a real chapter you’re actually studying, generate a study pack — then do the part most students skip: audit it against the source for errors.

The work brief

  1. 01Pick a real chapter or topic from your own syllabus and gather the source material (your notes, an NCERT chapter PDF).
  2. 02Load it into NotebookLM (or ChatGPT/Gemini with the files attached) and generate: a summary, 10 quiz questions with answers, and a key-terms list.
  3. 03Audit the output line-by-line against the source. Find at least 2 places it is wrong, oversimplified, or missing something the exam would ask.
  4. 04Fix those parts yourself and mark what you changed.

What you’ll produce

4 deliverables

Submission standard

Submit the source description, the generated study pack, a screenshot of the tool with your sources loaded, and your audit findings with fixes. Share a link to your notebook/chat and make sure the screenshot shows your real source files by name.

  • The chapter/topic and the exact source material you loaded

    Short answerRequired
  • The AI-generated study pack: summary, 10 quiz Q&As, key terms

    Written responseRequired
  • Screenshot of the tool with your sources loaded

Screenshot must show the tool with YOUR account and the actual source files/titles by name, plus a date.

    Image uploadRequired
  • Your audit: 2+ errors/gaps found, evidence from the source, and your fixes

    Written responseRequired

You’ll complete these inside your private workspace.

What you must submit as proof

This brief requires evidence an AI can’t fabricate.

  • Share link to your notebook or generation chat

A NotebookLM notebook share link, or a ChatGPT/Gemini share link of the chat where you generated the pack from your uploaded source.

    Public linkRequired

Submissions without this evidence cannot be submitted.

Protect other people in your proof. Blur faces, names, phone numbers and email addresses before you upload, and refer to anyone you worked with by role or number ("Listener 1", "the stall owner"). Your proof is only ever used to check your work — it is never published, never appears on your certificate, and is never shown in your public portfolio.

How your work is evaluated

The passing benchmark is 70/100.

Real material

17%

The pack is clearly built from the student’s actual syllabus material.

Study pack quality

17%

The pack is complete and exam-useful.

Audit rigor

33%

Errors found are real, evidenced against the source, and properly fixed.

Grounded in a real, named source

33%

Auto-fail if the source isn't shown to be the student's real named material, or the audit doesn't cite the source (generic pack).

How we grade your AI usage

30% of your score

Using AI is the point — it’s the skill this certificate proves. You’ll answer three short questions about how you used it: what you asked, what was wrong with its first answer, and what you changed. Specific, honest answers score high. “I pasted the brief and submitted the answer” scores near zero.
