Why does that listing sell? Tear down 5, rewrite 1

On Amazon and Flipkart, the listing IS the salesperson. Tear down 5 real listings of the same product, work out what the best-reviewed sellers do differently, then rewrite the weakest — AI drafts, you sharpen every line.

The work brief

  1. 01Pick one specific product with many sellers (a water bottle, earphones, a kitchen item) and collect 5 real listings.
  2. 02Tear each down: title keywords, image count and quality, bullet structure, review count/rating, price position, Q&A handling.
  3. 03Rank them and identify what the winners share — with screenshots of the telling differences.
  4. 04Rewrite the weakest listing completely: new title, 5 bullets, description — using AI drafts you sharpen.

What you’ll produce

3 deliverables

Submission standard

Submit the teardown of all 5, screenshot evidence, and your complete rewrite of the weakest. Include your AI workflow: your drafting prompts and what you changed and why. Include the public URL of the weakest listing you rewrote so the grader can confirm it is real and your rewrite matches that product.

  • The 5-listing teardown: each scored on title, images, bullets, reviews, price — and the winning patterns

    Written responseRequired
  • Screenshots of the most telling difference between best and worst (one image)

Screenshots of the most telling difference between best and worst listing, showing the real product pages — seller names, review counts and prices visible.

    Image uploadRequired
  • Your complete rewrite of the weakest: title, 5 bullets, description

    Written responseRequired

You’ll complete these inside your private workspace.

What you must submit as proof

This brief requires evidence an AI can’t fabricate.

  • Public link to the specific listing you judged weakest and rewrote

Must resolve to a real Amazon/Flipkart product page; your rewrite must target this exact product.

    Public linkRequired

Submissions without this evidence cannot be submitted.

Protect other people in your proof. Blur faces, names, phone numbers and email addresses before you upload, and refer to anyone you worked with by role or number ("Listener 1", "the stall owner"). Your proof is only ever used to check your work — it is never published, never appears on your certificate, and is never shown in your public portfolio.

How your work is evaluated

The passing benchmark is 70/100.

Teardown rigor

29%

All 5 are real listings, systematically compared on the same dimensions.

Pattern extraction

14%

The winning patterns are specific and non-obvious.

Rewrite quality

29%

The rewrite applies the patterns and out-sells the original on paper.

Traceable real listings

29%

The weakest listing resolves to a real product page and the rewrite targets that exact product; screenshots show real seller names/review counts. Unverifiable listings or a rewrite for a different product = fail.

How we grade your AI usage

30% of your score

Using AI is the point — it’s the skill this certificate proves. You’ll answer three short questions about how you used it: what you asked, what was wrong with its first answer, and what you changed. Specific, honest answers score high. “I pasted the brief and submitted the answer” scores near zero.
