Micro-internship brief ≈12h across 2 days — build store + test orderlow-codeIndia edition

Open a real online store with ₹0

India’s free-commerce stack means anyone can open a store in an afternoon — most people just never do. Set up a real storefront with 3+ real products, AI-drafted descriptions you make honest, and a live order path — then run one complete test order through it.

The work brief

  1. 01Pick real products: things you/family could genuinely sell (crafts, tuition slots, homemade snacks, old books).
  2. 02Build the store on a free platform (Dukaan, Mydukaan, Instamojo store, or a WhatsApp Business catalogue with payment links): 3+ products, your own photos, AI-drafted descriptions you rewrite until they’re honest and sound like you, delivery/pickup terms.
  3. 03Run one full test order end-to-end: a friend places a real order through the store (payment can be ₹1 or cash-on-pickup).
  4. 04Document the friction: what confused your test buyer, what the platform hides in fees, what you fixed.

What you’ll produce

3 deliverables

Submission standard

Submit the live store link, a screenshot of the completed test order, and the friction report. Include your AI workflow: your description prompts and the claims you toned down to stay honest. The order confirmation must show your own store's name and a dated order for a product that actually appears in the live store.

  • Live link to your store

    Public linkRequired
  • Screenshot of the completed test order (order confirmation/payment)

The completed order/payment confirmation must show your own store's name and the order details with a date, for a product that appears in the live store.

    Image uploadRequired
  • The friction report: buyer confusion, platform fees discovered, fixes made

    Written responseRequired

You’ll complete these inside your private workspace.

How your work is evaluated

The passing benchmark is 70/100.

Live, real store

29%

The store opens with real products, real photos, and working order flow.

Order proven

29%

A complete test order genuinely went through.

Operator learning

14%

The friction report shows real store-operator understanding (fees, UX, trust).

Live store, real order

29%

The store URL is live with the 3+ real products described, and the order screenshot shows that same store's name and a dated order matching a product in it. A dead link, dummy products, or an order that doesn't match the store = fail.

How we grade your AI usage

30% of your score

Using AI is the point — it’s the skill this certificate proves. You’ll answer three short questions about how you used it: what you asked, what was wrong with its first answer, and what you changed. Specific, honest answers score high. “I pasted the brief and submitted the answer” scores near zero.
