Build a mini style guide for a real business

Consistency is what separates a brand from a bunch of posts. Build a one-page style guide for a real local business: colour palette (contrast-checked), two fonts, logo usage rules, and do/don’t examples.

Steps

  1. 01Pick a real local business and study what visual identity it already accidentally has (photos, boards, packaging).
  2. 02Build the palette: 4-5 colours with hex codes, and check text/background pairs in a contrast checker (WebAIM) — screenshot the passing result.
  3. 03Pick 2 free fonts (heading + body) that fit the business’s personality, and write the usage rule for each.
  4. 04Assemble the one-page guide with 2 do/don’t example pairs, made with AI + Canva.
